The death of Mrs. Bella Cormier, wife of Albert J. Cormier, occurred Friday night (21 mars) at Villa du Repos in Humphrey following a long illness. She was 69.

Born at Memramcook East, she was a daughter of the late Thaddée and Odile (Melanson) Melanson.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Landry (Irène) of Memramcook, Mrs. Roger Caissie (Carmella), Mrs. Norman Gallant (Rosia), both of Moncton and Mrs. Paul E. Gaudet (Hectorine) of St. Joseph; two sons, Alyre and Léonard Cormier, both of Memramcook East; four sisters, Mrs. Jimmie Brien (Laurina) of Shemogue, Mrs. Fred Breau (Lucie) and Mrs. Dora Cormier, both of Moncton, and Mrs. Minnie Richard of Sanford, Maine; 23 grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

The body is resting at Dupuis funeral home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. today at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East with entombment in St Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery vault, St. Joseph, to await burial in Memramcook East in the spring.
